Orlando Travel & Rental FAQs
Find helpful information about visiting Orlando, renting a Veltroxy vehicle, deposits, mileage, insurance, fuel requirements and more.
01 What is the best time to visit Orlando?
Orlando is a year-round destination. Popular periods include Spring Break from March through April, summer from June through August, and the holiday season from November through early January.
For fewer crowds and potentially better availability, consider late April through early June or September through early November.
02 Do I need a car when visiting Orlando?
For most visitors, a vehicle is highly convenient because Orlando and its surrounding attractions are spread out.
A rental vehicle can provide faster travel between attractions, greater flexibility for dining and shopping, and a more comfortable experience.
03 How far is Walt Disney World from Orlando International Airport?
Walt Disney World is generally about 20 to 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport under light traffic. Travel time may be longer during busy periods.
Veltroxy offers pickup through a nearby airport shuttle location and optional delivery to select locations.
04 What type of vehicle is best for an Orlando trip?
The best vehicle depends on your group size, luggage and driving preferences.
Performance SUVs are well suited for families and travelers who want passenger space, luggage capacity, comfort and a premium driving experience.
05 Can I pick up the vehicle at the airport?
Veltroxy offers shuttle-based pickup near Orlando International Airport. The vehicle is not picked up at the airport terminal curb.
Pickup instructions are provided after booking. Optional delivery may also be available for select locations.
06 What documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
Each approved driver will typically need to provide a valid driver’s license, a matching accepted payment method and any requested identity or insurance documentation.
Minimum-age and verification requirements may vary depending on the selected vehicle.
07 Are your vehicles suitable for long drives?
Yes. Veltroxy vehicles can be used for local Orlando travel and approved day trips, subject to the Rental Agreement.
Each rental includes 100 miles per rental day. Additional mileage is charged according to the Rental Agreement.
08 What makes Veltroxy different?
Veltroxy specializes in high-performance and premium vehicles, direct booking without marketplace service fees, personalized service and convenient options for Orlando-area travelers.
09 What are some things to do in Orlando besides Disney?

Visitors can also take day trips to destinations such as Cocoa Beach or Tampa.
10 Is Orlando safe for tourists?
Orlando welcomes millions of visitors each year. As in any major destination, travelers should remain aware of their surroundings, secure valuables, follow local guidance and use reasonable precautions.
11 Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is generally required before the rental begins. The standard deposit is $750 unless a different amount is disclosed for a particular vehicle or reservation.
The deposit may be used for authorized charges under the Rental Agreement. Any remaining eligible balance will be released or refunded according to the applicable payment-processing timeline.
12 How much mileage is included?
Each rental includes 100 miles per rental day. Additional mileage is billed at the rate stated in the Rental Agreement.
The standard excess-mileage rate is currently $2.99 per mile unless a different rate is disclosed for the selected vehicle or reservation.
13 What fuel should I use?
Veltroxy vehicles must be refueled with premium gasoline. Use 93-octane premium fuel or the highest premium grade reasonably available if 93 octane is unavailable.
Follow any specific instructions provided for the vehicle or in the Rental Agreement. Retain fuel receipts during the rental period when requested.
14 What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the vehicle, reservation and timing of the cancellation.
The applicable cancellation policy will be disclosed during booking and in the Rental Agreement. Contact Veltroxy as soon as possible when your plans change.
15 What are the minimum age requirements?
Minimum-age requirements vary depending on the vehicle. Additional eligibility, insurance, deposit or verification requirements may apply to younger drivers or certain high-performance vehicles.
16 What insurance is required?
All drivers must satisfy Veltroxy’s insurance and verification requirements before taking possession of a vehicle.
Required documentation and any available protection options will be explained during the reservation process.
17 Are tolls included?
Tolls are not included unless expressly stated. The renter is responsible for tolls and any applicable processing or administrative charges permitted by the Rental Agreement.
18 Can someone else drive the vehicle?
Only drivers approved by Veltroxy and listed in the Rental Agreement may operate the vehicle.
Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle may violate the Rental Agreement and affect insurance or protection coverage.
19 Is smoking permitted?
No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all Veltroxy vehicles.
A cleaning or smoking-remediation fee may apply when evidence of smoking, vaping, ash, odor or related residue is found.
